Kelantan Chengho International Food Festival 2011 (KELCHEF 2011) is  the first of its kind international food fair, to be organized by the Kelantan State Government in the state capital Kota Bharu.

KELCHEFF 2011 rides on the momentum created by the hugely successful Cheng Ho Expo 2010. The Cheng Ho series of Expos and Trade Fairs is an effort put forth by  the Kelantan State Government in reviving the spirit and legacy of Admiral Cheng Ho’s long and arduous expeditions across the globe, bringing people together from a wide spectrum of  cultures and geographical regions.

To be held over a 10 days period from July 14 – 23, 2011, KELCHEFF 2011 is set to showcase a rich variety of food & beverages products and services ; bringing together  industry players and professionals from around the world to interact, transact and explore the  vast and lucrative business opportunities in a multi-billion dollars industry. The 1^st edition of KELCHEFF is set  to offer a unique experience  to the participants and visitors alike.


Truly a festive and exciting event, KELCHEFF is dedicated to food enthusiasts on the lookout for unique gastronomic delights,experiences,innovations and special dishes.  Apart from the international and local food stalls, KELCHEFF 2011 will feature many side attractions such as multi cultural live stage performances, culinary competition sessions, various ethnic cuisine demonstrations and Islamic civillization exhibition.
